Care + Repair

All pieces are handcrafted by us in our home studio in the French Alps. We put a lot of energy and love into our work. Polymer clay has a delicate nature and is a flexible material when cured. It can show little imperfections after firing like slightly colors variations, tiny marks, and very small bubbles - which we manage to avoid almost entirely due to our firing technique. The eventual inconsistencies that can occur in no way affect the functionality or overall aesthetic appeal of the pieces. It's the nature of handmade and the guarantee you are acquiring a truly unique piece.  

Store your earrings away from other metal jewelry to avoid scratching.  Polymer clay will not break if dropped but can break if you bend the parts. Handle your jewelry carefully. Don't press the clay when putting or removing the earrings. Hold the earring around the backs and gently turn the butterfly/stopper away or into the backs. 

Makeup or other dirt can be removed from clay by using cotton and alcohol or acetone. Be careful to not remove the shades and colors. Rub the cotton gently over the spots. 

Let the earrings lay flat when not in use. 

All pieces are unique, hand-shaped with polymer clay. We use natural leather cording and Titanium (nickel-free) earrings pads and silver-filled jump rings from a single mine origin, meeting strict ethical, environmental and health, and safety standards.

Hello Zephyr is following EU directions that regulate the use of nickel in jewelry. We use solid sterling silver or silver filled for some of the jump rings and it can oxidize and tarnish over time. The metal will not chip off as it is not plated. We recommend Zephyr jewelry not be worn when swimming or in the shower. Perfumes or lotions should not be used directly on the jewelry. Sterling silver can tarnish due to being exposed to air so the best way to keep jewelry clean and from tarnishing is to store it in the box as it comes with anti-tarnishing paper. You can also use a jewelry polishing cloth to wipe down the silver parts after each wear to maintain appearance or polish vigorously to remove accumulated platina.

Warranty

 We are pleased to offer a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase on items purchased directly from hellozephyr.com.

Shipping

All items are made to order. Allow 5 to 10 business days for your order to be made and shipped. For wholesale orders, the processing time is 7 to 15 days business days. 

Delivery via USPS (3 days to 3 weeks, depending on the location) or UPS (5 days worldwide). If you have a special requirement please send a message. All items come packaged securely - eco-friendly and plastic-free. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. A tracking number will be provided as soon as your parcel ships. If the item(s) arrives damaged let us know as soon as possible so we can arrange a replacement. 

 

Returns + Exchanges

We accept returns and exchanges of new and unused products within 14 business days from the date you received your order. Please connect with us to initiate a return authorization prior to mailing your items.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at gabriela@hellozephyr.com. 

Shipping 
Shipping costs for returning items are non-refundable.
